Baby Ducks

Since we moved into our new house, Mommy and I have been going to the neighborhood pond to feed the ducks. About 2 weeks ago we noticed that one of the black ducks was nesting. At first we thought she was sick because no matter how close we got she wouldn't move. Well a few days ago we figured it out. She had been sitting on her eggs. She is now the proud momma to 11 ducklings. They are, we think, 4 days old and already so adorable. We saw them swimming for the first time yesterday and it is so cute because they are so tiny.

They are black fuzz-balls with yellow bellies and are about the size of a golf ball...
